There and back again

It was back on the sleeper train again to get to Bangalore. I bought the tickets thinking I had got a great bargain as they were only half the price Vj had been quoted.

We got a sleeper bus from Goa to Hampi which was 10 hours of torture. It made the train jouney seem like a night of luxury in comparison!

Having managed to avoid the Rajastan Runs we ventured south to the wonderful state of Goa. Its much calmer , cleaner and quieter than the North.

We arrived in Jaipur at 7AM after a semi sleepness night on the sleeper train. It was an interesting experience and I spent half the night enviously watching others in peaceful slumber from my elevated watch point on the upper berth inches from the train ceiling. After the madness and chaos that was Delhi and Agra it is with some relief that we have spent a few days in whimsical Udaipur.
