There and back again

I seem to be developing Vijays skill for witty titles! After a few peaceful days on a remote beach somewhere near Byron bay we headed to the Hunter Valley for some wine tasting.

We haven’t seen very much of the odd Australian wildlife, and had no desire to see some of it  in the wild so we took a trip to the Currumbin Wildlife park and got our fill of Koalas, Dingos, ‘roos and the like. Was almost tempted to get a bush ranger type hat, but figured [...]

Our road trip has continued along the coast heading towards Brisbane or Brissy as the locals call it. But we were stopped in our tracks by a thing called ‘schoolies’ where thousands of kids who have just finished the school term congregate in surfers paradise for a week and drink themselves stupid. Hell on earth!
