There and back again

After a couple of weeks sitting on our arses on various beaches (and eating some pretty amazing seafood) around the state of Goa, we returned to Mumbai catch our flight back to London.

From Bangalore to Kerala, we’ve been looking forward to visiting this state, wowed by tales of seafood, relaxed coastline, cosmopolitan history, and remote boating along “the backwaters”.

It was back on the sleeper train again to get to Bangalore. I bought the tickets thinking I had got a great bargain as they were only half the price Vj had been quoted.

We got a sleeper bus from Goa to Hampi which was 10 hours of torture. It made the train jouney seem like a night of luxury in comparison!

Having managed to avoid the Rajastan Runs we ventured south to the wonderful state of Goa. Its much calmer , cleaner and quieter than the North.
