Luang Prabang to Vientienne

Travelling in Laos can be arduous. Towns and cities are spread out and the transport is slow. We got a “minivan” from Luang Prabang to our next destination Vang Vieng.

Luang Prabang

After two days on a boat we arrived in Luang Prabang. It is a peaceful, sleepy town set where the Rivers Nam and Mekong meet (confluence ?).
